Consider sharing ? With the utmost pleasure. I’ve been writing ? If that’s to be truth, on Substack for a few weeks. Non fiction short stories. There’s a giant problem with this site. I discover many , many writers whose works won’t leave me be. Your voice, this minute , drew me in. Hit by a truck ? Brain impaired ?! Yet you write with an ease and human warmth envied I’m sure . You’ve done me a favor. I’ll continue to read others I’ve paid for and notes in morning. Otherwise my brain gets jumbled. Of course you know expression “gets hit by a truck.” You and a young man , 20 years old this month , Anders was too. 3 years ago driving his car. Not expected to live . Coma for 5 months. Was the top skier in his high school along with the most spectacular young man. He still is but lost an arm , part of leg , wears a helmet head injury healing and learned to speak again. May I tell you he’s a gift and a Miracle. If there’s a god she was on his side. I wasn’t meaning to tell this story . Couldn’t resist. Just couldn’t. Jenn

I am almost as old as you. I was in car accident in 1981 resulting in an 11 day coma. Brain injuries do change your perspective.
