I also agree with Ellen that your descriptions of living through your brain injury are very useful in helping people who have suffered similar injury, and particularly in helping families of those so injured. As always, your prose, Judith, is a real treat in itself.
I wish someone associated with brain-injury rehab teaching would see your posts and use them to educate their peers and the families impacted by their loved ones’ loss. I just think it could bring so much compassion and understanding, because you explain so well what the struggle to recapture yourself is like. Keep going. We hear you. And I love that art!
