the "WHY ME" cult .. You said it so simply, as I have when I've heard those who believe "others, not me" ... exactly why it so angers me .. Why not you ... Don't put it on another, not nice .. Find a more graceful way to express your pain .. Learn empathy!
Your birds sound like you discovered your version of Kintsugi (golden joinery...Japanese)....if only one could do that with the brain...... just for decorative purposes as your brain is a delight.
It seems to me that you have become (always were?) a most talented artist, with a keen eye for color variations, textures, and movement. This goes for the houses too. These are rare and unique talents, Miss J.
Your story is fascinating and heartbreaking at the same time.
Fascinating because you took something that could shatter anyone's heart, and would get them to hide under the covers and give up hope, and instead you have this absolutely mind blowing approach that I wish I can learn from.
I had a huge fear of 2 things as a child: cancer and Alzheimers. The panic followed me later into adulthood too.
I have a dear friend who has been living with cancer for 18 years, so she has now successfully changed my outlook completely when it comes to hope and healing and health,
I'm so grateful to you for sharing your story. Now you are turning my black and white views on memory loss on it's head.
Nothing is absolute. As long as we live there is always a chance for things to improve
Maybe everything ends up becoming what we make of it. Thank you again so much for your bravery and unimaginable courage!
I'm so impressed by your recovery, your art, and your grit. You are my hero/heroine. Hugs to you.
Thank you .. I have always been defiant of

I think those painted birds are wondrous. Do you sell them?
Thank you. I have sold them, at times, in galleries.
Beautiful birds + houses and a beautiful recovery story.
Love your art
I still love your birds!!🐦
I love your bird art - and homes!

Thank you. Deep bow.
I love this, Judy. You are so good.
I absolutely love your birds. They bring me joy when I sink down into sadness
This is gorgeous. Thank you.
Your objection to the question “why me?”
is amazing, and is an salutary rebuke to self-pity. Brava!! Life did hand you a lemon, and at once you started making lemonade. How utterly cool.
Thank you. Deep bow.
Love the birds you make!
All your birds are gorgeous! I've always wanted to be able to draw and paint like that. You are inspiring ✨️
Thank you. Deep bow.
