Thank you for passing along this important information. Although I no longer have children in school, I'm very concerned about how the current administration wants to control content, information delivery, and other important changes that citizens and educators have worked so hard to include in our schools. I will include a link to your dispatch in my weekly column so my readers will be fully aware. I would not want to try to synthesize the content of the letter and end up losing its importance.

Bravo!! and Indeed!! And YES, YES, YES!! The rainbow defines beauty .. All colors are beautiful!! Empathy defines truth .. All bodies are equal .. Regardless of how we walk, how we talk .. All are due appreciation, affection, and due process ... To learn and grow, with mentoring were seen by those with the awareness to give freely ... We all advance when we all grow ( let knowledge bring wisdom)

Your response is perfect. It's amazing and disturbing that Trump's government is so against helping all students -- whose different needs must be met in order for them to learn and succeed. Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are our strengths.
