“You might wonder how it feels to wake up one day and not know who you are.” This opening line reminds me of Franz Kafka’s “Metamorphosis”, with Gregor waking to find himself transformed into a giant cockroach.
Wow! And then to complete your readers’ bewildered state, you write brilliantly, “I don’t
know. I can’t remember.” With just a few words, you turn everything topsy-turvey, at once launching your lucky readers into acute mental confusion when they realize that not only is the ship unmoored, but the land and the dock have disappeared also. Clearly, J, you saved the compass, for your clean, compact prose is indeed like tiny jewels strung on a golden string, each carefully constructed into an artistic whole. God gave you words for you to find your way back home, and you have shared them with us. Thank you.
So utterly confusing and mindfully loaded with wisdom .. To see so clearly with total abundance and a lil bit of madness (the fine kind) ... To be mindset in near loss .. While being universally attached !!
When the Sky Tied its Shoe as a concept, is pure poetry - I love your posts and admire your courage. Even though you have no choice - I remain impressed. Please keep on keeping on ❤️
